Apparel Manufacturing Intern

LAX Creative Agency is a contemporary life style brand out of Culver City, CA. We are currently looking for a dependable, positive, fashionable design intern that is driven and has an understanding of what it takes to make a quality garment. The ideal candidate must take initiative on projects and be able to multi-task, learn "on-the-go" and meet deadlines. Assisting in all aspects of design from concept to fittings and sample production, the intern will have daily interaction with not only the design team, but sales and production as well. The interns main responsibility will be production (ie: making sure samples are ready). This is a very hands-on internship and a great learning experience. We are looking for a COOL individual that is ready to be a sponge as well as a visionary.

1. The Ideal Candidate: Must be able to commit to at least 20-25 hours per week - Would possess or be in pursuit of Apparel Manufacturing Degree (or measurable experience in Apparel Manufacturing) - Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Adobe In-Design experience is a plus) - Pays strict attention to detail - Has great experience with project management - Must have reliable transportation - Must have flexible hours - Must be a motivated self starter - Positive Attitude Required
2. Responsibilities Include: Assisting Creative Director with visuals - Taking a concept from design to finished samples - Constantly Building knowledge of design and production - Efficiently executing all steps necessary in product design & manufacturing - Assist in the development and execution of Seasonal Look Books - Assist in the development and execution of Seasonal Line Sheets
